At Helavo, we stand behind the quality of our products—and we mean it. That’s why your Helavo rollators include a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, which can be extended to 3 years at no additional cost. Simply register your product with the Helavo within four weeks of purchase.

Warranty Terms for Helavo Rollator Walkers

At Helavo, quality, durability, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. Our warranty terms are designed to provide transparency and peace of mind.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

We provide the original purchaser with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty beginning on the date of delivery. You can extend the warranty to 3 years at no additional cost by registering your product within four weeks of purchase.

The warranty applies only to the product originally purchased and covers the following components:

  • Frame: The primary supporting structure responsible for stability and durability
  • Joints and hinges: Components that allow the rollator to fold and connect its various parts
  • Height-adjustment mechanisms: Components that provide a safe, ergonomic handle height

What Is Not Covered by the Warranty?

1. Damage Caused by External Factors

  • Accidents, impacts, or falls
  • Corrosion, rust, or material deterioration caused by moisture or weather exposure

2. Normal Wear and Tear

  • Wear to tires, wheels, handles, grips, padding, or upholstery
  • Loosening of mechanical connections over time
  • Damage resulting from insufficient maintenance, such as failing to adjust the brakes or using improper cleaning methods

3. Improper Use

  • Exceeding the product’s maximum weight capacity
  • Using the rollator on stairs or steep inclines
  • Storing the product outdoors or exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture

4. Unauthorized Modifications

  • Repairs performed by unauthorized service providers
  • Use of third-party replacement parts or accessories
  • Structural modifications, including drilling or welding

5. Cosmetic Damage

  • Scratches, discoloration, dents, or other cosmetic changes resulting from normal use

6. Resale and Unauthorized Retailers

  • Products purchased from unauthorized retailers
  • Used or resold products—the warranty applies only to the original purchaser

Care and Maintenance Tips

  • Clean the brakes, wheels, handles, and grips regularly
  • Inspect and adjust the brakes as needed
  • Avoid excessively rough terrain and extreme weather conditions
  • Store your rollator indoors in a clean, dry, and protected area

Replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for at least two years, whichever is longer.

The 2-year warranty is included automatically. The optional extension to 3 years is available at no additional cost when you register your product within four weeks of purchase.

Yes. Many Helavo models are lightweight and foldable, making them convenient for travel and compact storage. Most convenient models for travel are H1010 & H1320, which also include dediated travel bags.

Our 2-in-1 rollator and transport chair models are specifically designed for this purpose. These are the only Helavo models that include a transport chair function, allowing a caregiver or companion to safely assist a seated user.

Standard rollator walkers should never be used to transport a seated person.

Yes. Many customers use Helavo rollator walkers while recovering from surgery or participating in physical therapy. Our products can support safer walking and greater independence while reducing strain during rehabilitation.

No. Parts and components from different Helavo models are not currently designed to be mixed or interchanged.

Please note that the cane holder is not compatible with models 1210 and 1030.

Our electric wheelchairs include a 3-year limited warranty on the wheelchair frame and a 1-year limited warranty on electrical components, including the motors, controller, electromagnetic brakes, and charger.
