Position Summary:
We are Helavo, an innovative and dynamic team from Germany.We are a manufacturer and online seller of high quality products in the category of walking aids and rollators.
In order to achieve our goal of becoming the online market leader in mobility products, we are expanding our operational team in Bucharest and are looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to join our team.
The E-commerce Specialist will play a key role in driving the success of our online sales and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our online shop, from its inception to the successful sale of products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of optimizing online sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the project for channel expansion, transitioning from a pure platform distribution sales model to an equitable split between platform and the brand's Online Shop Channel.
Make critical strategic decisions regarding both Frontend and Backend operations.
Play a pivotal role in shaping the future team architecture, including decisions regarding in-house versus outsourcing approaches. Additionally, establish, manage, and cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders such as freelancers and agencies.
Provide professional and disciplinary guidance to team members, ensuring effective management and performance.
Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the Online Shop sales Channel, overseeing financial aspects including cost of goods sold (COGS), fulfillment costs, taxes, and other relevant line items.
Assume responsibility for CRM activities associated with the brand.
Manage the brand's tech stack within your area of expertise.
Deliver detailed financial and operational performance reports to management and other stakeholders.
Foster strong collaboration with peers and team members across various departments including Finance, Supply Chain, and Creative.
Drive the identification and execution of continuous improvements in operational and financial aspects of the business.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in e-commerce, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing e-commerce platforms particularly in developing online shops from scratch
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify) and experience with website management and optimization.
Proficiency in web analytics tools with the ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
Experience with digital marketing channels (e.g., SEO, SEM, email marketing) is a plus.
Certification in e-commerce or related fields is preferred.
